Trumpet virtuoso Tine Thing Helseth explores bold soundscapes on her new recording ECHOES, out now on LAWO Classics.
This powerful new album highlights the expressive and dramatic potential of the trumpet. Featuring trumpet concertos by Alexander Arutiunian, Krzysztof Penderecki, and Mieczysław Weinberg, as well as Arutiunian’s vibrant “Theme and Variations”, the album was recorded with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and acclaimed conductor Petr Popelka.
Tine said, “This album means a great deal to me. It brings together music that has followed me since I was a teenager, alongside works I’ve come to love more recently,. The combination of these pieces feels like a portrait of my artistic journey.”
